Abandoning those who have helped us has been a tradition of the good ole USA since WWII. The Jews, whom we promised a homeland. The Koreans, to whom we offered protection, as well as the Chinese under Sun Yat Sen. The South Vietnamese and Hmong. The Contras. The people of Chile, Somalia, Libya, Syria, et al. The Kurds. What? You mean they haven’t had newspapers in Afghanistan for the past 80 years or so? Oh, sorry. Too soon? But, how else did we earn the BHN (Biggest Hypocrite Nation) title?
